Life Coach Certification: Coming to Syracuse, NY!!

Yes, we are bringing our Life Coach Certification Course for the very first time to Syracuse NY!

Fear of Failure? Read this and watch yourself shift!

Whenever I speak with or interview successful and exciting people, I always walk away with a sense of awe regarding their lack of fear in their pursuit of a worthy goal. Yet, I wonder if the fear of failure for most of us is the biggest obstacle in our attempt to live a life that is more fulfilling and joyful.

This fear of failing at any personal or professional endeavor can be so strong that we sit on the "sidelines" of life, watching other people playing their best game. The phrases "I wish I had their confidence . . . their life . . . their money . . . their relationships . . . their faith" continue to surface as we long for an existence that is full of energy and meaning.

And yet, if we examine the road we've taken to get us to where we are today, I wonder if it is full of decisions that we've made to minimize the chance to fail rather than one in which we've tried to maximize the chances to be more successful. Do you see the immense difference here? People who are playing life "safe" are handcuffed, partially immobilized by the fear of how they may be judged by others if their quest doesn't turn out the way they had hoped.

On the other hand, those who are trying to maximize their lives are looking for opportunities to excite them, stretch them, make them show up and take the exciting chances that life has to offer. And please don't confuse these people with blind risk takers. Quite the contrary. Many of these successful people are far from daredevils. Maybe their relationship is so strong because they chose someone based on an internal connection rather than choosing someone who others would approve of. They looked past race, color, religion, and chose someone they knew they could love at the deepest possible level.


Evaluate your life and determine today if your fear of failure is the one obstacle that you must learn to release so that the life of energy and joy you desire becomes reality.

"Phone Life Coaching: Is it Effective?" 3 Reasons Why

For the past 17 years I have been asked the same question so many times, "Is Life Coaching over the phone an effective way to become more successful in life?", that I decided to offer an entire blog to the answer.

In the shortest answer possible, yes, yes, yes,....if the coach is skilled in this technique.

Telephone coaching offers a variety of benefits, with the exact same results as coaching in person. When I began my career as a coach in 1992, my first 2 clients that I worked with were in person. After that, about 80% of my clients for 12 years, were all coached over the phone.

From dealing with divorce, spiritual questions, addiction/alcohol recovery, to finding the perfect life partner, the issues are all the same whether we work with someone in person or over the phone. If the coach is an effective listener, and has the talent to ask the right questions, he or she can help their clients to create the life they desire regardless of where they are.

I've been blessed to work with people who live in Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle, actually everywhere you can imagine in the USA, as well as Ireland, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and even Australia! My client in Australia as a matter of fact would set her alarm for 2am her time, get up, do our one hour session, then go back to bed. Amazing determination.

So here are a few of the top benefits for doing phone coaching as a client:

1) You can work with a powerful coach that you connect with, regardless of where they live.

2) Initially, you may feel more free to open up with your true vulnerabilities, as it feels safer for some to do this over the phone, vs sitting in front of your coach.

3) You can save time driving to someones office, and do your sessions from the comfort of your home or office.

While there are many more benefits than I have listed here, I want you to feel secure in the fact that with the right coach, you can achieve the same success over the phone as you can sitting in a professionals office.

Over the years, I have experienced so many exciting success stories through my long distance clients . One woman found the love partner she had always wanted just after our eight week session ended. Another, doubled her income with a brand new career, the last week of our coaching session. One man who had struggled with alcohol for years, found sobriety via our phone coaching, and yet another long distance client worked his way through the death of a very close family member.

While I'm not a big fan of email coaching long distance, I am a huge proponent of phone coaching for success from any distance around the world. Phone life coaching is an amazingly effective way to achieve the goals you've always wanted to.

Shortly after completing the course
After many years of trying to be a perfect Mom and Wife by trying to make everyone happy. I spent so many years not present in my life that caused me tremendous stress and grief as a parent and wife. The One Thing Theory that David Essel teaches is a concept that I use as a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Best Friend and Co-worker to radically change my relationships with the people in my life. I started out on this journey to help people face their challenges and take action in their life. I realized a few weeks into it I had a deep passion to help other women; married, single and moms. I am a Life Coach to the Mom’s of the World. What I was most surprised about was the teachings I receive from all of the wonderful clients I have received. When my ego is having a challenging day I stop, slow down, and think of the radical changes my clients have made in their life and it truly brings me back to what is important in life.
I currently have 5 clients and I am starting a book club to inspire others to take action in their life.
