A. The definition we have used for over 15 years is: An addiction is any thought, substance or behavior that we return to , even though it is not healthy, or it does not serve us in the best way possible. This means thoughts or words like gossip, negative thinking, any substance including food, smoking, alcohol, drug abuse,  behaviors like sex or perfectionism or trying to rescue/save people, spending money we really do not have, ......the list is really quite large, this is just a start.

Alcohol Recovery: A success story.

In the 20+ years I have been helping people to get sober from alcohol addiction, I have seen the many different levels of addiction.
