I WAS A RAGING CO-DEPENDENT...LET'S HEAL NOW

I WAS A RAGING CO-DEPENDENT...LET'S HEAL NOW.

In 1997 I got the shock of a lifetime when several coaches and counselors told me I was a raging co-dependent, which is why my relationships were so filled with chaos... and I leaned on alcohol almost daily.

Relationship addictions: My story.

How can a guy who helped people recover from relationship challenges for many years, , not see his own relationship addictions?

It is so true. I have been in the world of personal growth, sports counseling, addiction recovery and relationship recovery for my entire adult life....yet I could not see the relationship addictions I carried into my intimate  relationships.

Let me explain on this short video.

The #1 reason people treat us like crap ? Mistreat us? Here is the answer.

Oh my, she cheated on me again?

Or he cheated on me again?

Or they said they would be on time but still never are?

Or said they would not get drunk but did?

Or said they would pay me back, but once again have not?

WHY do people treat us like crap?

Here is the answer, on this short video.

Healing codependency, in 2 powerful steps. From our XM Radio Show

The caller wanted to know why it was unhealthy to put everyone else in her life first.

She was raised that way, where her needs were not that important.

Are you happy in life? , I asked.  Life could be better she said.

And your body, are you happy with that?

Honestly I could stand to lose 50 pounds, but I have no time for exercise.

The more we talked, the easier it was for her to see she was addicted to codependency.

The need to be liked, accepted, and the fear of rejection, abandonment.

Codependents live a life of unease, fearful to really be themselves.

Watch this video, to see what I mean.

It is by far the biggest addiction in the world!

First, step one, we have to see the truth, that this is ruling our lives.

That we fear being honest with everyone, because they might not then like us.

Step 2, is to get help, and lovingly begin to set aside time for our lives, our goals, our happiness.

For the past 25 years, we have helped thousands of people heal from codependency.
