Brian Armstrong, Author of the Exotic Booze Club. From the volcanoes of far-east Russia,to the snake-infested jungles of Burma, and from the wilds of Africa and Central America, to the Outback of his beloved home country, Brian Armstrong is a filmmaker who has produced or overseen more than a hundred hours of quality programming for cable broadcasters – including: National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and the Smithsonian Network.
Brian is the President of television production company, Red Rock Films. His most recent film, Zombie Sharks, aired on Discovery Shark Week this August and his new book reveals the death-defying and sometimes humorous antics that go on behind the scenes of high-end expedition film making. His book is called The Exotic Booze Club after a clandestine club he ran at National Geographic during the eleven years he worked there as a producer. Members of The Exotic-booze Club would regularly gather in his office to sample exotic alcohols brought back from far-off lands by Brian and his fellow documentarians.
