Lacking The Female Orgasm: Taking Responsibilty
The cause of disappointment in women who do not reach orgasm in their intimate relations lies in one of three causes:
1. ) they do not know their body and it's sensual/sexual needs, or
2.) they have not shared with their partner exactly how they desire/need to be pleased, or
3.) they have in detail on multiple occasions shown their partner how to explicitly please them, but their partner is insensitive to these needs.
If you fall into category 3, which is an extremely rare event in the cases I have worked with but one that many woman feel they are a part of, get into counseling yesterday.
If you fall into category 2, which has a huge fan base it seems as it by far is where almost every woman I have worked with over the years resides, who fail to reach orgasm with their partner, here's great news. This is easily remedied if you want it to be. Unfortunately, many woman say they want to have this part of their relationship fixed, but they do not want to do the work I am about to propose.
The reason for this is that they have a subconscious desire to stay unfulfilled. They are able to wrestle some power from their male partner by being able to say to their close friends that he just can;t please her. Sad, but true.
It also allows her to stay away from the deep , vulnerable intimacy that occurs when a couple is trying to heal sexual issues. If she really wanted to explore her needs, both emotional and physical with a partner, she would have to become fully open, honest and transparent in bed. She would have to direct him, with words and action. If she carries any shame or guilt around sex, she might find this too scary to do. In this case, it's time to get help.
"He should know how to please a woman", is the excuse many make so that they don't have to go deep in intimacy.
If you fall into category 2, please follow this exercise. Write a story to your partner describing how you would love to have your needs , both emotional and physical, met. When it gets to your sexual needs, be highly detailed and explicit. Break all of your previously held notions about what a woman should or should not say about her sexual needs, and just go for it. This should be fun for you to do, and if it is written with love, as in a fantasy/reality world, he should love reading it too. Everyone wins.
Hey women!!! Men cannot read minds!!! Help us out!!
If you fall into category one, begin to explore your body today, by yourself. Get lotions, vibrators and toys to see what different pressure and speeds feel like. When you know what it takes to bring you to an orgasm by yourself, re read the above exercise.
Slow down and explore the wonders of reaching your sexual orgasm with your partner. Drop the blame, and go towards deep love and intimacy today.

Emotional Foreplay: A Powerful Sexual Lubricant
So what exactly is emotional foreplay? It's the myriad of actions that helps you connect and get excited about being with your partner. From text messages that say "I love you", to emails, phone calls and yes even a card dropped in the mail for no apparent reason.
Emotional foreplay is to sex what pre- season training is to the athlete. Without it, your season is going nowhere. If we want a relationship to not just last, but to prosper beyond belief, we must put the daily effort into keeping our love alive.
I remember a time when I had left my partner a very loving and explicit voicemail , about how I wanted to hold her, kiss her and yes more that very evening. I went into great detail about how slowly I would kiss her and what would happen the minute I saw her. When I called a few hours later just to say hi, she was totally in that zone of love, of desire, and said how she could not wait to kiss me as well. Hearing her response sent me into the most amazing tailspin, which then increased our desire to be with each other.
Without that initial call, while we would have still had an amazing connection, it could never have gone as deep as it did. To me, this is what intimacy is all about. She told me repeatedly how much she appreciated not just the message, but the very fact that I continued to stay connected even if we were not together.
If a man makes his partner dinner, and surprises her with even the simplest of meals, that's emotional foreplay. If a woman goes out of her way to pick her partner up his favorite coffee without being asked, and swings by his office unannounced with this small gift, that's the glue called emotional foreplay.
It gets our minds, hearts, thoughts and bodies flowing. It's the simple acts that helps to deepen your emotional connection to your partner.
Slow down, and make emotional foreplay, a powerful sexual lubricant, a part of your daily life.

Sexuality, Intimacy & You Series
The topic of sexuality and intimacy is one of the most important issues in our lives, and yet for many it's one that is rarely if ever discussed. While we may feel brave to openly discuss our political or religious views, to often we shy away from exploring our intimate and sexual needs and desires.
What does sexuality mean to you? What does it mean to be truly intimate with yourself and/or another? Is it ok to take care of your sexual needs by yourself even if you are currently in a relationship? Can you openly share your sexual desires with your partner, even if they have no interest in fulfilling them? How do you fulfill your partners desires for true intimacy? Do you even know what they are?
And if you're currently single, how do you get your basic human needs for intimacy and sexuality met? Or are you waiting for someone else to meet them? And if you are, is this the healthiest way to live?
Right now, slow down and take a piece of paper and answer the questions asked in this article. See if you truly do know, or have even explored, the importance of this area of your life. Too many clients that I have worked with over the years have neglected to even try to gain insight into their own as well as their partners beliefs about the topics of sexuality and intimacy, and have watched their love fade due to the neglect of needs and desires.
Yes, I am asking you to be open and vulnerable. And yes, it is in this state that the most amazing experiences of life truly exist. Let's all reach this place together.
Join David for a new dynamic 3-hour workshop which covers information that will offer exciting breakthroughs in how we approach sexuality and intimacy as it relates to self love and acceptance, as well as our ability to love others more deeply.
Many of us shy away from talking about our own sexual needs whether we are currently alone or in a relationship with another. David's philosophy revolves around the concept that if we can begin to approach our feelings about sexuality and intimacy more freely, we then can use this newfound awareness to deepen our love of self, something that many people today struggle with deeply.
"Our gift of intimacy is one to cherish, acknowledge and explore if we are to continue our path to living a more aware, awakened life. It's exciting to see a liberated freedom for people who have explored their passion for intimacy, sexuality and love, and how this freedom positively affects every area of their lives."

The Joy of Sex ...Now
Some blame the stress of the economy, others the rising responsibilities of family, school, and the juggling of other activities.
It concerns me greatly when I see a trend like this, as sex, sensuality and the deep intimacy that arises from this between two people is one of the greatest gifts relationships offer.
We hold, kiss, stroke and join in sexual union as to experience the divine and the human in one beautiful dance.
So when this is gone, or diminishes greatly, what are we left with???
Instead of answering that question, I'd rather have you focus on what we have, how deep our relationships can go...when we make sure that physical intimacy of all types.... from the holding of hands in public, to the text just to say hi, to a slow kiss, gazing in your lovers eyes, to the joining, releasing, and then joining again in sexual union ...stays a priority in your life right now.
Slow down.
Create a deeper bond regardless of what's going on in your outer world, by committing today to keep your inner world fulfilled through the regular act of sexual intimacy.
Love, peace, David Essel www.talkdavid.com
