One of the most powerful ways to enhance your creativity is to create more quiet space in order to allow yourself to think , and reflect, on a daily basis.
While this may sound like common sense, how many of us truly do it regularly?
I recommended to several of my clients that they take a 14 day "vacation" from all forms of media...television, radio, magazines and newspapers.
While driving in the car, complete silence. No music or even motivational Cd's were allowed.
For the first 4 days, each of them recorded the same uneasy emotions in their journals. "Impatience, frustration, and quick to anger " were just a few of the feelings that surfaced. They all said at day 3 that they were ready to give up this ridiculous exercise.
But then the most amazing thing happened.
On day 4 for all of them, they went to this incredible creative space. One single mom ,became so inspired by her free quiet time that she wrote a complete book in 11 days!
Another created a majestic painting of 2 people in a divine embrace, using artistic talent that had been in hibernation for years.
And a third , a very well known psychotherapist, found himself awakening at all hours of the nite with inspiring additions to his new books that had been blocked prior to this "media free" experiment.
When we remove the distractions that we are used to using on a daily basis, our true creative juices can become unlocked, leading as you've seen here to some amazing end results.
You too can enhance your own creativity, and experience the same remarkable breakthroughs for your business, health or relationships, if you just give yourself the quiet time you deserve.
Fourteen days of freedom from all forms of media is all it takes to create your new pathway to success.
